Team Mizuno Northeast has a proven track record of developing some of the top baseball talent around.  TMNE players are positioned to achieve this through hard work, dedication and access to the top training facilities and coaches around.

NEAAU World Championships - Victory vs MexicoTeam Mizuno Northeast is the premier baseball development program in the northeast for ages 9-14.  Team Mizuno Northeast is dedicated to teaching basic fundamentals that will produce elite baseball players.  Team Mizuno Northeast players train out of Hit Quarters.  Hit Quarters is located in Shrewsbury Sports Center (3 Tennis Drive, Shrewsbury MA).  In addition to Hit Quarters, players also have opportunities to work with Shrewsbury Athletic Club.  With access to such facilities, Team Mizuno Northeast delivers premium baseball development in ways other programs can’t.

Players move through the Team Mizuno Northeast system with a process in mind.  That process demands teaching appropriately to each player’s age and skill level.  The goal is to teach players how to focus on what they can control through their development process.  The simple things matter the most.

2017 TMNE Tryouts have concluded for ages 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U & 14U.  If you are interested in a private tryout, please proceed to our registration page, fill out the required information and someone from our office will contact you.

flickr-1Developmental (9U, 10U): Often players at this level are new to “player pitch” and therefore need the correct training to get them accustomed to seeing live pitching, throwing live pitching, fielding ground balls and catching fly balls – the basics. Players are instructed on how/why working together is more important than anything else in the game of baseball.  For more info on our 9U/10U program, please click here.

13U NEAAU World Championships - Gav WarmupsIntermediate Development (11U, 12U): Reinforced basic training while introducing “big league” concepts, such as leading, stealing, pick-offs, etc. At this level, Mizuno players begin to work on a modified diamond that allows them to play the game like big leaguers. With an established concept of team work and advanced work ethic, players will be prepared for the jump to the “big diamond” and high school baseball.  For more info on our 11U/12U program, please click here.

Building upon previously learned aspects of the game such as leading, stealing, pick-offs – players are now re-introduced these developmental concepts on a 90 foot diamond. At this level, our players are challenged through a vigorous game and practice schedule that will see them playing 50-70 games.  For more info on the 13U/14U program, please click here.

TMNE 17U 2014 ChampsCollege Exposure (Scout Teams – 15U, 16U, 17U):  The concepts, principles and fundamentals taught  at the Developmental, Intermediate Development and Advanced Development stages of the program will prepare players for college exposure.  For Team Mizuno Northeast players, the ultimate goal should be to play college baseball.  Team Mizuno Northeast Scout teams are partnered with Program 15 – a baseball development system that specializes in preparing players to showcase properly for college coaches, showcase events and professional scouts.  For more info on the Scout Team, please click here.
